We are committed to protecting our community from the spread of COVID-19. In fact, Boise Entrepreneur Week was one of the first major Idaho events to announce a hybrid format this year.
This format will allow us to deliver quality content and support entrepreneurs, while still hedging against event restrictions that may arise from community spread of COVID-19.
Safety Protocols for Pitch Finalists
Boise Entrepreneur Week’s pitch competitions will take place inside Trailhead without a live audience. The event will be streamed online on YouTube and other media channels. Temperature checks will be taken at the door. Judges and participants will also wear masks when they are not presenting and the seating will allow for safe social distancing.
Safety Protocols for Live Events
To increase safety for attendees, the Investor’s Choice Conference and the general block party will be held outside of Jack’s Urban Meeting Place (JUMP).
Event booths will be spaced according to CDC guidelines and masks will be provided to attendees at their request. Our mask policy will be based on spread of COVID-19 on the date of the event and will be announced at the start of Boise Entrepreneur Week.
Boise Entrepreneur Week is Idaho’s largest community-driven, entrepreneur-focused event. Each year, thousands of people come together to learn, support, and celebrate Idaho’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.
With virtual and socially distanced in-person events, BEW will reach people across the state, region, and country by partnering with state and local governments, investors, civic leaders, educators, private companies, students, trade associations, universities, nonprofits, and of course, entrepreneurs of all stripes.
Our planning committee has experienced subject matter experts who push themselves to create rich, inspiring experiences for attendees of all backgrounds. This year, we are collaborating to plan impactful events featuring speakers and panelists from more than 40 organizations.
In order to have a real impact on a community, we believe events and resources need to be as accessible as possible. To that end, we do everything possible to keep BEW free and open to the public, which would not be possible without our generous sponsors. Without their vision and support, BEW would not be what it is today.
One of the things that makes Boise Entrepreneur Week so special is the attendance of students from almost every provider of higher education in the state. Not only do the students make BEW more vibrant, but our sponsors and other local employers get the chance to make meaningful connections and potentially source new hires.
Help us make BEW exceptional! There are many ways to be a part of the festivities, whether as a volunteer, vendor, attendee or evangelist. We welcome anyone who wants to contribute, in big or small ways. Let’s talk.
